Rwanda became a German colony from 1885, its a country thats was formed in two tribes which are the Tutsi and Hutu. These two tribes dont exist anymoreThe genocide played an important role to why the population of Tutsi's is less than the hutu's.
Music and dance plays an important role in the traditions of all Rwanda's peoples .The Rwandan people have a variety of music and dance which range from acts that demonstrate epics commemorating excellence and bravery, humorous lyrics to hunting root. Traditional songs are often accompanied by a solitary lulunga, a harp-like instrument with eight strings. More celebratory dances are backed by a drum orchestra, which typically comprises seven to nine members, and collectively produce a hypnotic and exciting explosion set of intertwining rhythms.

Heres's a video of one of my favourite rwandan dance group that i enjoyed watching:
Most dancers have stories that are being told , in my point of view i gather ideas that you see their graceful movements as well as their spreading of the hands they are mimicking a graceful African bird in the land of Rwanda. This bird struts about before taking off and will flap and spread its wings threaning to fly but give another dance before that eventual flight. their intuitive is very sharp and I respect that in them , they are very talented people.
